Wisdom Wednesdays

Did you ever spell a word, that you spell all the time, look at it and say to yourself, “that does not look right“?  I just did with the word “Wednesday”.  Silly me, I even looked it up, on my online dictionary, to see if I was spelling it correctly!

Anyway, “Wisdom Wednesdays” , I’m thinking, will be a regular post on this site.  Wednesdays are a typical “Work ALL Day”, in my office, day for me.  And, like tonight, there are things to do and places to be on Wednesday evenings.  (I’m thinking if I spell the word Wednesday enough, it won’t look so funny to me).  So, look for Wednesdays to be “Wisdom Wednesdays”.  Bible Studies will resume on Thursdays.

This morning before I left for my office, I asked the Lord to give me insight into “wisdom” today.  I felt in my mind and my heart, that the Holy Spirit dropped a “word of wisdom” in there.  It was “Right Response”.  My first thought was, great!, now I’ll be thinking all day…someone is going to chew me out today and I’ll need to give the “Right Response”.  But, my half empty cup soon turned to half full, and spilled out “just be prepared, always, with a ‘Right Response’ attitude.  We shall see what happens throughout the day.  It’s only10:45 a.m.  I’ll let you know if anything significant happens????

Proverbs 15:1 “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
