Introduction
Quote from the book by John MacArthur, “Twelve Ordinary Men, All rights reserved, Publisher Thomas Nelson, Inc., copyright 2002, permission to quote only for brief excerpts”.
“If Christ can accomplish His purpose through the lives of common men like these, imagine what He has in store for you!”
Over the next several days, my desire is to personalize “The Disciple” for myself, and for you. My desire is TO BE “The Disciple” of Jesus Christ. The disciple is not merely a student of the Master, but one who desires To Be like the Master.
In Matthew 28:19, Our Lord commanded His Disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations“. If we are not disciples, ourselves, how can we do this? Today, I have a question to ponder for myself, and for you.
Question to ponder: Have I truly made myself available to Christ, to become like Him?
Scripture to ponder: “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.” Luke 6:40
My prayer is that My Lord will lead, and that I will follow! May we all learn what the Word has to teach us.
