Back in February of this year, my friend Mary made me a bookmark. On the front of it is a colorful picture of a cocoon, a caterpillar and a butterfly. The words on the bookmark are Love Change. I use the bookmark daily, so I always have the words in front of me. Obviously, I like butterflies, and from the name of my site you can see that the transformation of the butterfly has special meaning for me.
God’s transforming power in our lives truly is amazing. I love, the phrase Love Change. When first we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, God’s justification is instantaneous. Thus begins our Love Change. But, the true change comes through sanctification. God progressively sets us apart in this life. He conforms us to His likeness. As we yield to His purpose and plan for our lives, the Holy Spirit guides us and helps us to become new creatures in Christ Jesus. ”We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance (the glory of God-Exodus 34:29-35) was fading away…And (but) we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:13 & 18
Truely, this is A Love ~ Change
