“Wake Up And Smell The Coffee”!

Pam Verse 1:1

JUST KIDDING

What was that?  The only thing I can figure is:  (we’ll take this “step by step”) Avery,  our 8 year old   grandson, and I stayed up late watching a movie…when I woke up I had coffee on my mind…so I looked up the word “smell” in my concordance…the only scripture reference I could find in the New Testament (I had a preference for the NT this morning) that had the word smell in it was Philippians 4:18

“But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the thing which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.” KJ

NO…that’s not it, it’s GOOD, but that’s not it…I’m going to search on…I went to my Women’s Study Bible and looked at the “cross references” for the above verse and I found 2 Corinthians 2:14-15

“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ, and through us spreads everywere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.  For we are to God the aroma of  Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.” NIV

Oh, my goodness!  That’s It!  What a “Cool” God.  He can “step” me through “Wake up and Smell the Coffee” to “You Are The Aroma of Christ”.    AMEN!
