Tonight, as I watched the sky when the sun went down, I was in awe of the beautiful horizon. At the horizon, the sky was this beautiful color mixture of purple, orange and pink. I know, it sounds like an off color sherbert. But it was absolutely beautiful, like flames of fire. Directly above the colorful mixture was a covering of dark grey clouds. As I gazed upon the beauty of it all, I thought to myself, I wonder where Heaven is out there? When I sat down at my computer to write this, I opened my Bible to page 966 (wondering what I would find). This is what I found:
Praise the Lord, O my soul.
O Lord my God, you are very great; you are clothed with splendor and majesty.
He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent
and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters
He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind.
He makes the winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants.
He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.
You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
Psalm 104:1-6 NIV
There is beauty in the Word and in flames of fire in the evening sky …….AMEN!
